KARE 11 Minneapolis-St. Paul App Reviews

Although I no longer live in the Twin Cities area, I still check KARE 11 news every morning first thing. It provides me with latest - headline, local and national news.

A good app to learn about the metro Mpls area. Sometimes it takes a few seconds to load. Content does not change often. However it is better than others from Mpls area.

I really enjoy kare11 I watch it every day. Better than most news and weather apps.

Like a lot, check daily. Weather is usually correct and up to the hour.

Updated app with tiles requires many clicks to drill down to actual info. Weather section is terrible. Old app would give me everything on the first screen. This version makes you download the most recent broadcast just to see the 7 day forecast graphic. Extremely frustrating.

I use this app to watch/listen to the morning show while getting ready for work. Just like having a TV in my bathroom. Wish the Today show could be live streamed.....

I use this everyday for weather and news.

I have subscribed for a long time and KARE 11 was the first news source I went to. Not any longer! I am disappointed to have an ad almost between every article. Im seriously thinking of deleting it completely. And the app freezes up too frequently!

Dramatic raw footage at Brussels airport moments after blast Ok, why is there no story or pics? This happens a lot w news stories on this app. You click and nothing is there. Whats the deal? If you want me to read it somewhere else I can delete the app.

App takes too long to load, videos take 5 minutes or more to start and then rarely complete without multiple hiccups.

Very few news storys anymore, and what is there, you can find on ANY of the other local news apps. Also, world/national headlines tab is all sports related storys. Really poor.

I used to like this app, now I have to watch a video if I want a look at the 7 day forecast. The weather news articles are from September and has a 7 day forecast for the Gophers and Vikings games. Articles need updating or take them off. Finally, why is this the exact same one as KSTP?

Ive been using this app for three years, but recently, I have become really annoyed with the change in ads between articles and empty stories when choosing a headline. Probably going to change news apps.

Weather portion could use some improvement. Always seems s bit slow.

Its reliable, doesnt have quirks or give me problems. I check local weather and bed every morning using the KARE11 app.
