KARE 11 Minneapolis-St. Paul App Reviews

Too many ads. App often closes unexpectedly due to error. Articles are either duplicates of USA today articles or they are local kare11 stories that clearly arent edited.

Updated app with tiles requires many clicks to drill down to actual info. Weather section is terrible. Old app would give me everything on the first screen. This version makes you download the most recent broadcast just to see the 7 day forecast graphic. Extremely frustrating.

It worked fine until a week ago. Now it keeps saying its not connected to the Internet.It says this both when Im on wifi and AT&T. All my other apps work fine!

I love this app and use it daily. The only thing that I dislike is the streaming video for the newscast is portrait only. It can barely be seen on a phone screen. If it was available in landscape, that would be great!

The news you offer is very repetitive from section to section and not updated very often. It could be very good if local news was only local and not other states news. That should be in National news section.

I used to love this app but the last few months every article redirects to another page before you can read the article. Its annoying!

You cant read an article or watch a story without sitting through a commercial first, time after time. I see the one star ratings are about to overtake the five stars. At one time this web site was used on a daily bases, no longer. Please Kare TV read these reviews and take a hint.

I used to utilize this app every day to manage my commute but since the upgrade, the new format is chaotic and difficult to read. I will be moving away from the Kare11 app.

The weather part is helpful!

Great app. Only issue is when you go to local news, it should just have local.

If you like being tricked into looking at ads, this is app is for you. I dont like it. Ads are made to look just like real stories. Also, no way to skip ads before watching any video story you want to watch. Very aggravating. I believe updates are Kare11s way of getting away from the horrible reviews it gets. Reviews start over with each update. The updates dont improve anything and most times make it worse.

I always look to Kare11 for my HomeTown news after being gone from MN for 20 years.

Slower than cold flowing tar to open app. Recycle old news quicker. Add future radar and severe weather fronts. Looks too much like channel 5s app.

But takes FOREVER to load. Otherwise i like it!

I like to turn to this app to get a picture once per day of news in MSP. I live outside the area and it provides me with a good snapshot of what is happening but I find it is not always updated to get the breaking news on the national level.

App locks up. Very frustrating, I am trying a different local news app.

Its a nice app to get min news when 1 lives out of the viewing area

Ive never had a problem with this great app but the new update makes it crash 75% of the time Im using it. Please fix!
